Ohio has a bountiful deer population. The 2006-2007 season had a record harvest. Hunters in Ohio harvested 237,316 deer for the largest total ever taken in the state. The Ohio hunting industry is a $266 million dollar boost to our annual economy. That's a lot of big bucks!
